What is a Translateur ?
The Translateur is a new concept introduced with the Expresseur. With a Translateur, you can program a cellular score, to make an accompaniment or to improvise. The concept is based on a common structure of piece of music, in jazz, classical music, ... When the the composer has finished his Translateur , the instrumentist can use it for live music, improvising , ...
How to use it ?
Instumentist can have access to styles/cellules in a direct way, using Midi commands (notes, programs, pedals). The styles and cellules are sorted, to take care about teh difference between two same chords in two different positions. In addition, a Score inside Expresseur can help the instrumentist in the progression of styles and cellules : the instrumentist is more free to create its music. Inside the Cellules, instrumentis uses Sequences and tune-translator to make his music. The instrumentist can be also a group of instrumentist, each one playin their own parts, like in a drum-band.
