Frequently Asked Questions : Response time
The response time is slow, creating a uncomfortable interaction
Make sure you have a driver Asio (www.asio4all.com driver provides a free and universal one).
Verify that the driver Asio is selected in the Hardware tab, section "audio".
Reduce the buffer driver Asio, opening its configurator in the Hardware tab, section "audio", or in the control panel of your computer.
If you do not have Asio, decrease the time audio processing in the Hardware tab, Audio item.
Please do not use too small values, which may give cracks in the sound.
If you use VST, make sure they have low latency (less than 20 ms).
If the computer is not powerful enough, use an external expander or MIDI digital piano, instead of the embedded piano, SF2 or VST.
The sounds are not synchronous
With multiple synthetisers, they probably don't have same latency (delay between the note demand, and the start of the sound).
Tune the latency for each synthetiser in the tab Hardware, until you have synchronous sounds.
In general situation, VST have latency around 10-30 ms. External Midi expanders or numeric pianos have latency less than 10 ms.
