The soundfont SF2 loads, but there is no sound.
SF2 needs a lot of memory. Try a soundfont lighter, or try the powerful VST player SF2, SFZ from project5.
Notes from a Midi channel are played on other channels
When you play, there may be need to play simultaneously two notes of the same height on the same Midi channel.
The Expresseur uses the concept of extending virtual channel to manage this issue. This option causes the breakdown of a note from one channel to several channels output.
If you do not want the Expresseur automatically configures these extensions of Midi channel,
uncheck the option "optimize the MIDI channel extensions after loading " in the Hardware tab, section Settings.
How to use directly te piano synthesys
If you want to play piano in the "classic" way, using the high quality synthesys of the Expresseur :
- Connect a Midi keyboard to the computer
- Check the menu 'Tool / non assisted mode' ( shortcut Alt-P, Midi shortcut configuration in User tab )
