Using the Score, you can play one or more tracks very easily, while viewing the rendered melodic.
The tracks can be played with one single voice, or up to 4 separates voices.
Within Musical display mode, the tracks can be spread over a four-layers, taking into account transposing instruments and their key.
The names of notes can also be displayed as an option.

Playing one single voice is easier, but you cannot separate the nuances between two tracks.
The interpretation on several voices is more difficult, but allows much nuances. It is also possible to assign one instrumentalist per voice.

Each voice has its own selector.
Selectors wich are not used are automatically used on the previous active voice. Example: if you play only one voice, it is possible to use the four selectors from the four voices.

To avoid "noise" (eg finger tapping two keys at the same time), which creates errors, there are two "protected modes" :

  • Alternated mode : to play voice 1, selector from voice 1 must be used in alternance with selector from voice 2. The same rule applies for voice 2 which uses selectors from voice 3 and 4. This mode is quite robust..
  • Timer protecion : Computer rejects selectors which come too soon. The delay is estimated according to the current tempo and the score. The acceptance is adjustable. This mode is useful for beginners, but can be annoying during working session where tempo changes a lot of time.

A Score contains Systems. The systems can be linked and repeated. This feature facilitates the management of verses and chorus.
A System has one and only one tonality, but can have multiple time signatures. Time signature can be not visible (Pickup notes, ...)
A System has a list of Events. Events can be simple notes or Appogiatura. Appogiatura are useful to simplify the reading for Musical notation.
Text linked to an Event has a specific syntax, to improve the musical information, and to make link with the Translator. One space must be inserted between each command :
